Its side line is straight, the upper side of the body is brown, the sides are shiny with gold-like glint. Its chest and anus fins have easily distinguishable clear white mark. It has a large mouth, in the mouth it is yellow colored. It is generally a deep water fish. It is a carnivorous fish. Because its taste is favored, it is being caught frequently. That makes it an economically valuable fish. Depending on the heat conditions of the sea, they start breeding and continue until August.
It is cut in serving size and can be cooked without cleaning.
